The premium water analysis package includes a 48-point analysis of your water sample to provide you with information about its suitability for drinking, domestic use, and irrigation. It helps you determine whether water treatment is needed, and what kind of treatment would be effective.

In addition to all of the analytes in the "well test package" this analysis includes ICP-AES analysis of numerous trace elements at the parts-per-billion level. These include potentially harmful elements, plant nutrients, and potential indicators of drilling contamination.

Recommended for all new water supplies, such as wells and springs, or those not tested for more than three years.

The package includes tests for:

total bacteria (colony count), coliform bacteria (presence/absence)

pH, conductivity, alkalinity, hardness, total dissolved solids, turbidity, Langelier corrosivity index, sodium absorption ratio.

Anions: chloride, fluoride, bromide, nitrate, nitrite, phosphate, sulfate, chlorate and silicates.

Cations: sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, ammonia, strontium, and barium.

Trace metals: iron (ferric), iron (ferrous), manganese, copper, zinc, cobalt, nickel, cadmium.

Trace elements: lithium, boron, selenium, arsenic, molybdenum, tungsten, chromium, mercury, barium, aluminum, tin, uranium, thorium, and lead.

Upon receipt of your order, we send to you a package with sample bottles, instructions, and return labels. You fill the sample bottles and return them to us. After we receive your samples, we sent you a report of the test results in about two weeks. (We usually cannot guarantee exact turnaround times.)

Reports are sent by email and a printed copy is mailed to you. The report shows you the concentration of each component and how your water compares to recommended water quality standards. See our web site for help with interpreting the results.
